Panther is a type of leopard that also known as the Black Panther because it is a big member of the big cat family. The term Panther is also used to state to Black Panthers and White Panthers and this is the general term used to refer to any big cat.

Most Panthers are dark brown to black in color. Their heads are quite small with strong jaws and emerald green eyes. They do not have spots on their body or tail, they have gleaming dark fur. They are native to America, Asia and Africa. It may be a mountain lion, a tiger, a leopard or even a Jaguar. They considered the strongest rock climber of all felines.

A Jaguar is a big cat found generally in Central and South America. After tigers and lions, it’s on third ranks in terms of body size. It looks alike to that of Leopards found in Asia and Africa. Nowadays jaguars are found in South and Central America only especially in Amazon Basin.

Most jaguars are orange with idiosyncratic black spots. Some jaguars can be very dark and for that reason they may appear to be spotless. They live alone and mark their grounds by clawing trees or with their litters. Females have one to four cubs and these cubs are blind and very helpless when they are born. Both mother and father stay with the them to look them after from other animals.

Jaguars are good swimmers and prey fish, caimans, and other larger animals like deer.
