Bell Peppers vs Capsicum

The difference between bell peppers and capsicum is the presence of capsaicin which is a lipophilic chemical that has a burning sensation in the mouth. Whereas bell peppers do not have this chemical. It has non-existence capsaicin because of its lowering genetic factor that washes out this chemical.

In short, bell pepper does not give the burning sensation as capsicum does. This is what makes it different. Otherwise, no special difference between them.
